Analitika Expo 2010. Results

The 8th International specialized exhibition Analitika Expo – 2010 organized by MVK International exhibition company with the support of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology, Moscow City nature management and environmental protection Department, state corporation RUSNANO, ROSKHIMREACTIV Non-for-Profit Partnership, RAS Scientific Council on Analytical Chemistry was held in Moscow from April 26 till April 29, 2010 at Crocus Expo.

The entire range of analytical and laboratory equipment, technologies and materials for analysis, monitoring and research applied in all branches of the industry was displayed which ex-plains to a great extent the success of the exhibition.

In the exhibition area of more than 8 000 square meters 198 companies from 11 coun-tries: Russia, India, the USA, Poland, China, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, France and Austria took part in the event this year. A collective exposition that brought together the leading German com-panies was organized with the assistance of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany. Over 5000 visitors were able to see the exhibited equipment which ensures the function-ing of all types of laboratories – scientific-research, monitoring and testing, sanitary, environmen-tal, agrochemical, educational, arbitral, industrial, etc. labs. All aspects of the laboratory creation process were shown: from the designing stage, structural materials and coatings choice, climate control, gas, water and air supply and management solutions, to the selection of equipment, devic-es, display and information processing systems, ensuring the ongoing activities of reagents, stan-dard samples, materials.

A round table discussion on issue “Physical and chemical analysis. Strategy of striving for quality”, organized by ROSKHIMREACTIV Non-for-Profit Partnership together with Econix Expert LLC turned out to be one of the most remarkable events of the exhibition. A seminar cov-ering the topic “Quality issues of analytical operations”, hosted by Analitica AAC, and seminar on issue “Achievements and trends in the analytical instrumentation”, organized by MVK CJSC and the Scientific Council on Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, served as an important platform for discussing the most acute topics of the industry.

New feature of the exhibition was a competition “Securing the high accuracy measure-ments in the analytical chemistry” – a presentation of solutions and opportunities of leading mea-suring equipment manufacturers. The final round of the competition, organized by ROSKHI-MREACTIV Non-for-Profit Partnership, MVK CJSC with the expert support of the Federal State Agency Rostest, was conducted within the frame of the exhibition. The official award ceremony of the winners was held on April 28, 2010.
